Our estimated due date for Ezekiel is in 4 days people!!! We are so excited!!! can you tell? haha
Today was my last day at work. It was a bittersweet day. I am glad that I get to stay home and wait for our son to come. Get the home prepared...although our bags are already packed and ready to go! I prayed that Zeke would hold off until I finish work and he is obeying me:) I think that means he is going to be a good listener..or maybe it just means he is going got be like his mom and late for EVERYTHING!!! haha who knows...I guess we will see in a few days.
I am ready for him to come physically. My body it really hurting and sleep is just not happening. I know this is just part of it and I'm thankful that it has just started being this way the past month.
Chris and I are so excited about becoming parents. It still does not feel real yet. We have had showers and have his room all set up but that's just stuff until he's here.
I keep thinking about the day he is going to come. I wonder what my labor story will be. I know it will be amazing to Chris and I no matter how he enters the world. We get to meet our son!!! I am really excited about birth. My body is going to do something that God created it to do. A human being..that I grew..with the help of Chris;)...is going to come out of me. Craziness I tell ya. I know it is not meant to be pleasurable but Holy cow, All of my hard work will pay off by getting to hold my son for the first time.
The first 24 hours are going to be so special for Chris and I. We are going to be the only ones holding him (plus our midwife who has to check him and make sure he is doing good). What a bonding period in his life and ours as well. Then the fist week of Little Zeke's life only his Grandparents and Great Grandparents(How cool is that he will have great grandparents)and immediate family will be holding him. We want to be able to bond with our son a lot the first week. Crystal Clean has given Chris a whole week off of work once Ezekiel is here which is such a blessing! I want Chris to soak up as much time with him as possible.

38 Weeks
I know I am a little late this week but we have a little under two weeks left before my due date! We are so stinkin excited and can not wait to meet our little man. Time still is going by very fast.
::UPDATES::
1. Tomorrow starts my last week of work. I am very sad to be leave Crystal Clean. They have been so very good to me and Chris. Training has been an adventure for me. I have never trained anyone before. Jennifer is super nice and I think she will do great for Crystal Clean. Just not as good as me, right!?! ha
2. We finally finished Ezekiel's room. All clothes are washed and put away. What a wonderful feeling that is I tell ya. Now his room is just waiting on him like his mom and dad. I love just sitting on the couch in there looking at all his stuff. He has so much stuff. Chris said last night when we were sitting in there, " do you remember what this room used to look like?" It was our junk room pretty much. We live in an apartment so storage is how you say...limited! We have none at all so all of our extra stuff was in there. We cleaned that joker out gave away lots of stuff and even sold some to people to make dinner at the city rescue mission downtown Jacksonville. We didn't need half of that junk. It was crazy! Now the room looks completely different. We are so blessed to have all of this stuff for him. When you have your first kid your really have nothing so you kinda start to freak out. We have had 3 amazing showers and people give us stuff. We are so so so very thankful for all of it!!
3. Our bags are packed ready to go to the birthing center when the time is right. I am going to try and labor as much as I can at home. I will have Chris here, of course, Kim Reeves my Doula, and Jen and Brittny. I don't think I will have my Mom come until I am at the center but who knows. We will call our midwife to update her on where I am and how my contractions are. We live 10-15 minutes away from then center so I am not worried about it. I know Chris could probably get us there in 5!!ha ha
4. I think I am ready for him to come. Physically YES!! I would love for him to come right now! As for work and stuff I would like him to wait until next weekend to start anything. For a couple reasons: 1) I would like to finish out work. A feeling of finishing out my duties with them. Knowing that my training was complete and I did everything I possibly could do. 2) Chris work during the week so I would like it to be on a weekend so he would have to rush home. Plus Jamie and Jim will have to finish his route for the day/week. I know it will all work out though. Zeke is going to come when he feels like it!

5. Nesting is no joke. I have been cleaning our apartment like a crazy woman. I have been craving cleaning products. There is a floor cleaner that is called Fabuloso. Its amazingly cheap and works great. Plus it smells even better. I have been mopping out floors once a day. no joke. I just need to smell that stuff! If I could drink it and know that nothing would happen to me or the baby I so would!! Well I went to the store this past Wednesday and I always go down the cleaning Isle to smell everything. I saw that Fabuloso has a multi-cleaner. I was soo excited!! I bought it and started cleaning as soon as I got home! I bought it Wednesday and today is Sunday. The bottle is half way gone!! Crazy good stuff people!
Well I think that is it for now. Just playing the waiting game. Got to go clean!!!

9 months
9 months pregnant!
One more month to go. Here are some updates:)
*I have my last and final shower today! I am so stinkin excited!!! Jen and Brittny are throwing me this shower at Brenda Mayerlen's house.
*I have some samples back from Jennilynn who took our maternity pictures. The ones that I have seen turned out really really good! I am so impressed with her photo taken skills:)
