Week 35!

5 more weeks left until my due date:) I can not believe it! I was 5 weeks when I found out I was pregnant. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. We found out the week of thanksgiving which seems like it was three months ago. We are in the last stretch of this pregnancy race and I am so excited:)

::Updates::

*Chris and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary this past Saturday. June 27,2009:) Wow a year has come and gone like a blink I tell ya. I know after we have this kid time will only go faster. We had a spontaneous weekend. We got up Saturday morning, I made blueberry pancakes(yum), went to the regency IMAX to see the new Transformer movie. All I have to say about that movie is "Wow"! It was awesome. You need to go see it in theaters. After the 2 1/2 hour movie went drove to St. Augustine. We had no idea where we were staying or eating or even going to do but it was soooo much fun! We were on an adventure. We both have never spent the day in St. Augustine so it was fun to explore. We did find a place to stay and came back late Sunday morning:)

*Sunday Parkwood threw me a baby shower which was so fun!! I am so thankful for everything that Chris and I got. What a blessing to have people in your life that love you. We got our Pack N' Play!!! I am so excited about that. Picture below. We put it together as soon as we got home:)


::Pregnancy Updates::


* Week 35 has come. Some new feelings that I have been having are:

Pelvic pain.

Back pain. (Which I have been having)

Nausea. YA...I think I'm starting to get morning sickness like I had in the beginning of pregnancy.

Exhaustion. Just like in the beginning too. I am always tired again. I don't like that feeling.

Sleeping starting to become an adventure:) I am not sleeping well anymore at all!

Milk. (Sorry for any men who read this if this grosses you out) But my colostrum starting coming in last week!(like Friday) So that makes me feel really good knowing that my body is doing what it needs to be doing and my breast are working properly for breast feeding:)

* I had an appointment with my wonderful Midwife yesterday which was amazing. I love going to my appointments not just to listen to my babies heartbeat(which is the best sound ever!!) but to talk with Sharon or Hope. I can talk to them about anything which is really unheard of for your care provider! I love it! At the end, I scheduled the rest of my appointments until Baby Zeke arrives How crazy is that!! My next appointment is two week then after that I go every week! The big leagues I tell ya:)

Week 34

We have rolled around to week 34. Ezekiel could grace us with his presence in about 3 weeks and he would be considered fully baked:) I will be 37 weeks then and will be in the safe zone to give birth. 37 to 42 weeks is the window we have to have him at the birth center. I pray he waits for week 37 and comes before 42:)

I don't really have any new updates this week. Feeling pretty good, having to get up at least 1 time a night to pee which I have waiting for. My back is doing pretty well too.

Today is Fathers day so I got up and made Chris french toast! YYUUMMMM I tell ya:) Went to church in the morning, went to my parents house for Arthur's Birthday ( which was on Thursday) and to see Armond, then off to the cheesecake factory to meet the Polk's and the newly married Mayerlen's for dessert. It was a good day:)


We took our maternity pictures Tuesday this past week which I think will turn out really good. Our friend Jennilynn took them at the beach.

Week 33

Week 33 guys!! Crazy that we are officially in countdown mode. 7 more weeks until our little man is estimated to be here. 37 weeks is considered full term. I could go any time from 37 weeks. I am not planning on going early but if he were to come early that means we only have 5-7 weeks left! AAHAHA I get so excited when I think about it:)

I'm going to my midwife every two weeks which has been good. I love my midwives! They are amazing.

Chris and I are taking our maternity pictures this Tuesday with our friend Jennilynn! I am super stoked. She has such a good eye.

I only have 6 more weeks of work left! July is going to be my last month. I started training someone last week and she is really nice. Catching on really quickly! It's just been a little crazy trying to fit in a whole days work in a half day! It's all good though..I am just thankful I have a job right now:)

All My Single Digits

We have made it to our single digit countdown. " All my single digits, All my single digits" That's my song of the week:)
31 Weeks!! ya 9 weeks left or 2 moths. crazy when you say 2 months left. I remember when I was only two months, and the first month I had no idea I was pregnant! I'm getting really excited about meeting our little man. He is so close.

Here our my updates for week 31:

I am officially done with Jazzercise until Ezekiel comes. My back has been hurting so I don't want to put any more stress on it. My intensity is not where it needs to be for teaching. I know that is not fair for the class who wants to get a kick butt work out. Now I'm not going to lie...I can still kick some of those ladies butt at 8 months pregnant:) I'm just saying.

I only have 2 months left of work at the good ole Crystal Clean. It is bitter sweet for me. Bitter because I have worked there for 3 years and love the people I work for. They have been so good to me and I hate to leave. Sweet because I get to stay home with my son! My full attention can be on him. We get to bond and start our journey together of mother and son. I start training a girl for my position on Monday which is such a blessing for Crystal Clean. That has been one thing I have been freaking out about. I don't want to leave them hanging because they have been so good to me. God answered that prayer of mine..and I'm sure of Crystal Clean too:)

I gained 6 pounds ladies and gentlemen. Not all together but in the past month! ha ha that's a lot to gain in that short period of time. I was really shocked...I am not going to lie. I talked to my midwife about it and she said that I was right on track with weight gain and my pregnancy. Altogether I have only gained 16 pounds. In the beginning, because I was so sick, I lost 3 pounds. I was in my second month and didn't gain the 3 pounds back until I was in my third month. Then I was back to where I started from. I didn't gain anything the month after, just stayed the same weight. I was ok with that:) Then I gained 4 pounds...then 3..then another 3...and finally the big 6 pounds. Hope (one of my amazing midwives) said I would probably gain about a pound a week now. Unless I hit the Dairy Queen everyday;) So I hope to only gain 10 more pounds. Key work hope:) The one fear I have now that I'm not teaching Jazzercise is I'm going to become a fat cow. I refuse to let into the lie that you are eating for 2!
Not really person who made that up and is making all us preggo people fat with huge butts!! I only need a little bit more not a whole other grown persons appetite. I have a baby growing inside of me not a 12 year old boy!

Zeke has been moving like crazy, which makes me feel so good. It kinda freaks me out when he is on my side rolling around doing the watermelon crawl and up in my ribs doing the YMCA! That is pretty much what it feels like.
I does feel like an alien is inside of me still. I can not explain it. It's just weird feeling.

He is almost 4 pounds now(maybe that's why I gained 6 pounds?!?!). He is almost the length of what he will be at birth. How crazy! About 18 inches. Some babies only go 19-20 inches! I don't know how long I was but I am sure no more then 20. I'm kinda a shorty:)
